Skye Wingo, a Queer Black-Jamaican Man, was inspired to make films by the stories told at our kitchen tables. He firmly believes that life as we know it wouldn’t exist without art and artists.
A veteran of the industry, he is hyper aware of its racism, classism, and exploitation of identities and subcultures. These forces have directly harmed peers. This awareness fuels his commitment to creating environments that are welcoming, safe, and nurturing.
